About the Program
Objectives:
- Learn a proven Silicon Valley innovation process from the professor that teaches the Stanford 500 Startups program
- Accelerate your capacity to innovate and deliver value from ideas
- Make meetings and brainstorms more productive
- Manage through resistance and overcome barriers to innovation
- Help move from ideas into action and successful implementation
- Apply lessons while working on a real corporate challenge of your team, not a case study
Concept:
- Large companies are generally not adept at creating high performance innovation units inside their companies due to interference with the company’s business model.
- In this 2-day program, thought leaders from both Stanford School of Engineering and IE Business School will bring participants up to speed on strategies and techniques for creating the next disruption that participants need to stay competitive.
- Content is derived from successful face to face and online programs that the teaching team has developed over the last two years.
- The material is highly current, not academic, and will require hands-on participation from client company representatives.
- Each Instructor will work with groups of about 6-7 companies; instructors will rotate across various sections to provide a complete experience for all companies
- Randomly selected companies may make presentations with instructor feedback or, if there are confidentiality issues, instructors will provide Case Study presentations.
Who Should Attend:
- This session is geared toward middle management responsible for motivating and guiding teams to drive new value and organizational impact.
