The President made another announcement on June 30 extending the community quarantine until July 15. Metro Manila and Cebu remains in status quo – Manila under GCQ and Cebu in ECQ. This comes as the country is still trying to better control the spread of the virus.

GREGORY WYATT is PSA’s Director for Business Intelligence, monitoring a broad range of business risks in the Philippines, including insurgency, terrorism, criminal threats (including both petty and syndicated crime), kidnapping as well as political and regulatory issues.
Greg has over a decade of experience in the fields of security risk assessment and political risk, beginning his career as a civilian contractor for the U.S. Army’s Human Terrain Team.
During his 14-month deployment to Iraq, Greg was embedded with U.S. Army combat units, helping front-line units navigate the complex socio-cultural and political landscape.
Greg holds a Master’s Degree in Security Studies from Georgetown University with a focus on Intelligence, as well as an undergraduate degree in International Relations from the University of Saint Andrews in Scotland. He was a Fulbright student scholar to Yemen and Oman.
