The Nordic country, Sweden, tops the Commitment to Development Index. Meanwhile, Norway is number 3, Denmark is number 10, and Finland is number 12.
The list is published by Center for Global Development and measures the world’s most powerful countries on their policies regarding the more than 5 billion people living in poorer countries. These policy areas are development finance, investment, migration, trade, environment, security and technology.
