Sustainability Meeting for January Kicks Off 2025 in Partnership with People Ignite and CELEMI Sustainability

On 22 January 2025, NordCham Philippines kicked off its first Sustainability Committee meeting of the year, featuring an engaging and interactive session on the topic CELEMI Sustainability: Planet, People, Profit. In partnership with People Ignite, the event provided participants with valuable insights into practical strategies for balancing profit, people, and the planet. The session was held at IWG Spaces, World Plaza, BGC.

One of the key highlights of the event was the interactive session, where participants engaged with a simulation by CELEMI Sustainability. This innovative tool helped participants explore sustainable methods to balance profit, people, and the planet, while tackling critical challenges related to company operations, supply chain ecosystems, and stakeholder expectations. The session provided valuable insights, allowing participants to actively navigate the complexities of sustainable business practices.

The event also featured presentations from a distinguished team from People Ignite, including JV Wong, President and CEO of People Ignite Organizational Development and Training Inc.; Vivian Junsay, Chief Operating Officer at People Ignite Organizational Development and Training Inc.; and Michael Björne, Business Simulation Developer at Celemi.

Throughout the interactive session, participants actively engaged in activities designed to highlight sustainability challenges and solutions. A lively question-and-answer segment also provided participants with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of sustainable business practices.
