Grundfos partners with Autism Society Philippines to accelerate Grundfos’s possibility to attract and recruit colleagues with disabilities. This project is a continuation of the first pilot already completed in Grundfos’s office in Hungary.

To accelerate Grundfos’s efforts in attracting colleagues with disabilities, such as people on the autism spectrum, Grundfos has entered a partnership with The Autism Society Philippines (ASP).

Through its widely successful Autism Works program, The Autism Society Philippines will support Grundfos towards the creation of autism-inclusive policies, practices, and processes for Filipino talent on the autism spectrum working in roles where their strengths will serve as a great benefit to Grundfos competencies.

"The ASP and Grundfos are building an Autism OK-Philippines where Filipinos on the spectrum are accepted, accommodated, and appreciated," shared Mona Magno-Veluz, the Country Manager of the ASP Autism Works program. The partnership was officially marked last week by a signing ceremony hosted by our Grundfos site in the Philippines and the first recruitment processes has already started.

"As we partner with organizations like Autism Society Philippines, we not only promote awareness and understanding of autism but also actively contribute to the empowerment and well-being of those affected by it. Through ongoing support and engagement, we aim to foster a more inclusive and accepting society, inspire other companies, and ensure that people on the autism spectrum in the Philippines can lead fulfilling lives and make meaningful contributions to their communities and company," says Dora Deak, DE&I Lead Specialist in Grundfos.

Mogens Lindhard, Lead Social Responsibility Specialist, adds:

"We have a target that in 2025, 3.5% of the total workforce in Grundfos group should be people with disabilities. This is not only to empower people with disabilities to have a fulfilling work life but because diversity and differences in background, experiences and perspectives make Grundfos stronger."

"We have office positions in the CFO area, among others, that provide opportunities to hire employees with disabilities and we are very grateful to get support and insight from Autism Society Philippines in how we best attract and retain these potential future colleagues," Mogens Lindhard concludes.
