Midsommar Feast 2026Last Saturday, we brought a touch of Nordic summer to Manila with our Midsommar Feast.
Midsommar marks the longest days of the year in the Nordic region and is all about enjoying the light, nature, and good company. While we don’t have the same summer season locally, the spirit of the celebration—coming together over food, music, and shared moments—translated perfectly.
Guests enjoyed a Nordic-inspired lunch following welcome remarks and a toast led by NordCham Philippines President Bo Lundqvist. A live performance by Jeannette Kamphuis added a cultural touch.
A highlight of the afternoon was the Maypole Dance, a central and symbolic element of Midsommar traditions. It has always been a crowd favorite, with guests gathering around the maypole, joining in, and bringing the tradition to life in a lively and memorable way.
The afternoon closed with a raffle draw and open networking, making it a relaxed and meaningful gathering for the community.
