NordCham Philippines Attended the 2025 Finnish Climate Honours Diploma Awards Ceremony

Earlier today, 10 October 2025, NordCham Philippines attended the 2025 Finnish Climate Honours Diploma Awards Ceremony hosted by the Embassy of Finland in Manila.

As part of the Finnish Climate Collaboration, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland recognizes individuals and organizations around the world for their outstanding contributions to climate action. This year, the Climate Honours Diploma was awarded to Mariejo Ramos of the Thomson Reuters Foundation, whose journalism has significantly advanced public awareness and dialogue on climate and environmental issues.

The award was presented by Ambassador Saija Nurminen and Ms. Anna Merrifield, Director for Climate and Environmental Diplomacy at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.

NordCham Philippines was represented by Maan Yu, Business Partnerships & Events Manager, in support of our shared commitment to sustainability and climate responsibility. We extend our appreciation to the Embassy of Finland in Manila for organizing this meaningful event and recognizing the vital role of journalism in advancing climate action.
