NordCham Philippines Visits IKEA

After two years, NordCham Philippines just had its first face-to-face event, and what better place to have this event but at the biggest IKEA store in the world!

We had Fika while learning more about the journey of building IKEA in the Philippines, as shared by Georg Platzer, Store Manager at IKEA Pasay City. After the presentation, it was time to head to one of the back areas of the facility where online orders are processed, packed, and prepared for shipping. 

Members of the IKEA team shared their sustainability initiatives and the innovative products that they use for packaging, like the paper pallets and the package fillers.
