Nordic Viking Party 2023: The Norse Saga

The Nordic Viking Party 2023: The Norse Saga was an unforgettable evening that celebrated Viking culture and heritage. Held on September 16th, this exclusive event hosted 340 attendees who embraced the Viking spirit.

The evening kicked off with aquavit shots and captivating performances. Nordic Ambassadors and Embassy representatives joined in a Viking Toast, connecting the event to ancient traditions. The feast at Valhöll featured Nordic-inspired dishes, from open rye bread sandwiches to grilled salmon.

A raffle draw offered enticing prizes, including a business class round-trip ticket courtesy of Etihad Airways. Silk Band took the stage to play ABBA music, bridging modern music and Viking tradition for a night of dancing.

The Battle of Einherjar saw Viking Tribes competing in various contests such as Shield Wall, Axe throwing, lifting Thor’s hammer, and beer drinking, with Team Philippines emerging victorious. Best-dressed attendees were recognized as Mr. and Ms. Valhalla.
