The NordCham Sustainability Committee aims for more collaboration across industries and to learn from each other and experts. Going forward, the Sustainability Committee hosts nine annual meetings on varying sustainability topics with resource speakers and sharing of best practices, opportunities for networking and building partnerships, and collaboration with government units.

The Nordic Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (NordCham) hosted the annual Nordic Ambassadors' Forum on the 3rd of November 2022 at Dusit Thani Makati. This year the topic was Perspectives on Sustainability. The event is one of six annual signature events of NordCham, and it featured 3 sessions as well as networking and company booths.

The Nordic Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines Inc. held its 6th Sustainability Committee Meeting on October 26th at Spaces at World Plaza, BGC, with the topic fostering Gender, Diversity, and Inclusion in the Workplace.

On September 21, The Nordic Chamber of Commerce Philippines hosted the 5th Sustainability Committee meeting on the topic of Corporate Transition to Renewable Energy at Spaces in World Plaza, BGC.

On August 17, The Nordic Chamber of Commerce Philippines hosted the 4th Sustainability Committee meeting on the topic of corporate partnerships for skills and livelihoods at Spaces in World Plaza, BGC. 

The Nordic Chamber of Commerce Philippines hosted the 3rd Sustainability Committee meeting on July 20 on the topic of plastic waste management and circularity at Spaces in World Plaza, BGC.

On May 18, the Nordic Chamber of Commerce Philippines hosted a Sustainability Committee meeting on the topic of sustainability implementation and reporting at Spaces in World Plaza, BGC. 

On April 27, the Nordic Chamber of Commerce Philippines launched the Sustainability Committee together with more than 20 business partners at Spaces in World Plaza, BGC. 

The Manila Times organized a roundtable discussion along with the Foreign and Philippine Chamber Presidents to which they highlighted the importance of implementing economic reforms for the country to remain competitive. 

This report highlights the sustainability initiatives of many of the NordCham business partners, of which 24 have agreed to be willing to participate in the NordCham Sustainability Committee, which comprises approximately 20% of the base of business partners.
